A History of Misogyny
Each chapter of the History is represented with one photograph that captures the essence of the story that Abril shares. Laia Abril is a Catalan photographer who was invited by Forhanna to hold the annual Willem Poelstra Lecture in 2022.

The book *112 Ambulance Amsterdam was Willem’s first project, to honor the people of the ambulance services in Amsterdam. Shot in rough black and white, it shows us what happens behind the closed doors of a big contemporary city.
