We visit the BredaPhoto festival and look at four projects in the exhibition China Imagined and compare how projects that are a road trip, a portfolio and a catalogue in book form are shown as an exhibition.

XiaoXiao Xu’s road trip along the Long Wall, Pixy Liao’s Experimental relationship and Zhang Kechun’s project on the Yellow River are the main focus, and we look at Thomas Sauvin’s exhibition World Park as an extra.
